Effect

In this effect the magician walks on stage carrying a case with him. The case is opened, and slowly and mysteriously a flute starts to rise out and up to his waiting hand. The flute floats away from the magician until it is well away from both his hands. It hovers in midair, rises up, down, and around the performers body, seemingly of its own accord, until it finally comes to rest in the case again. Closing the case, the magician steps forward to receive his well deserved applause. This is a real show stopper and can earn a reputation for you. A bit of practice is required to do this smoothly, but well worth the effort put into it.
