 Magician Hans Klok Becomes Electra
The beautiful Carmen Electra and incredible Dutch illusionist Hans Klok will debut a new "night-long production show" in the former home of Steve Wyrick at the Aladdin/Planet Hollywood.
The Luxe Life broke the story on St. Valentine's Day but was not able to receive confirmation until this evening.
Miss Electra was invited to partner with Mr. Klok because "nobody's ever heard of him here outside of magic circles."
We proudly admit no one had ever heard of us outside of crop circles.
Mr. Klok is "the self-proclaimed fastest magician in the world."
His publicity people compare his work to Vegas regular and the world's most traveled magician, David Copperfield.
He's on the on the scale of Copperfield with a full, night-long production show.
His performance style used to be very Pendragon-esque. He's appeared a couple of times on American TV magic specials, but has never played here except for a few magic conventions.
He specializes in extraordinary big-box illusions and is known as the fastest magician in the world for the speed of his transformations.
He'll become the next Siegfried & Roy rolled into one!
According to our sources, Mr. Klok's show currently includes a more difficult version of the Houdini Water Torture Cell escape.
We are impressed. The Water Torture Cell is not effortless and to perform it every night in a different venue is a true test of stamina.
Miss Electra is slated to do more than box jumping in the new show.
The
beautiful star of Bay Watch series and the most recent and entertaining
Taco Bell commercials will have a featured act in the show.
There is no word whether her act will involve magic.
Mr. Wyrick recently moved from the Aladdin theater to his own venue in
the Desert Passage mall. We will have more on Mr. Wyrick's debut this
weekend.
Mr. Klok has quite a resume; including work on television specials
around the world, a recent 60 city tour of Europe, representing UNICEF
as an official ambassador, and a 64 city tour of China.
The show's director knows how to put on a magic show. Sir Anthony Van
Laast was the director of the Siegfried & Roy production at the
Mirage.
Mr. Klok and Miss Electra will be in Vegas next week to meet the press and build advance interest in their new production.
